The Bryton Rider S810 is a 3.5-inch colour touchscreen GPS bike computer with up to 50 hours of battery, preloaded OSM maps, and on-device rerouting without a phone connection. It suits riders who want a large screen, long battery life, and route recalculation on the device itself.

At a glance

Screen and navigation

3.5-inch colour touchscreen

The global specification table lists a 3.5-inch Color TFT Touch Screen and marks the touchscreen as included. The body measures 102.5 x 57.6 x 15.8 mm and weighs 116 g. A light sensor adjusts the backlight. Bryton also describes slimmer bezels and etched buttons for grip.

Climb Challenge 2.0

Bryton says Climb Challenge 2.0 estimates upcoming climbs without a preloaded course, with a preview plus start and complete notices. That is separate from models that build climb data only after a route is imported.

Preloaded maps and turn-by-turn

OSM (OpenStreetMap) maps are preloaded, with zoom level 16, on-screen points of interest such as bike shops, hospitals and water stops, plus MTB trails and other off-road features. During guidance the screen shows street names, points of interest, peaks, distance and direction.

With an internet connection, voice search can look up a place. Bryton says it recognises more than 100 languages through Google. Nearby points of interest, address search, back to start, and route planning are marked “Via Bryton Active App” on the specification table.

Rerouting after you leave the line

On-device Reroute is marked on the specification table. The opening description says the Rider S810 recalculates the route without a phone connection. A later Advanced Routing paragraph on the same page says a phone connection is required. The specification line above follows the table and the opening sentence.

Training and connections

Workouts, power and indoor training

Planned workouts can be used via the Bryton Active App or TrainingPeaks. Steps and a progress bar appear on the device, and the screen can zoom. Up to 12 data fields are listed. Bike types cover road, indoor, MTB, gravel and cyclocross, with 3 bike profiles.

Paired with a compatible pedal power meter, it can show seated or standing position, power distribution, PCO and left/right balance. ANT+ FE-C smart trainers and virtual ride are both marked on the specification table.

Strava Live Segments

After starred segments are synced in the Bryton Active App, the device can compare your time with a personal record, friends or a KOM, and show the time gap.

Sensors, shifting, e-bikes and radar

Satellites listed are GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS, with a barometric altimeter. Wireless is Bluetooth for iOS and Android. ANT+ sensors are listed as heart rate, speed, cadence, power, radar and light. Bluetooth sensors are listed as heart rate.

Electronic shifting compatibility is Shimano Di2, SRAM eTap, Campagnolo EPS and FSA K-FORCE WE. E-bike support is Shimano STEPS and ANT+ LEV.

Bike rearview radar is marked on the specification table. Bryton’s description says a connected ANT+ rear-view radar can detect vehicles up to about 150 m behind, with colour and sound alerts on the data pages. Rides can sync through the Bryton Active App to Strava, TrainingPeaks, Komoot, Relive and Ride with GPS. Live Track and Group Ride with chat are also listed.

The waterproof line is incidental exposure to water of up to 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. Operating temperature on the specification table is -10°C to 50°C.
